Here I Am - Digital Story-Telling Project

During October 2008 a group of eleven young carers spent most of their holidays learning stop-motion animation, photography, video, and music production skills as part of our “Here I Am” Digital Story-Telling Project. The Young Carers Project (Brisbane South) Digital Story-Telling Project “Here I Am” was launched by The Hon Kerry Rea on Monday, 9th March, 2009 at the Mt. Gravatt PCYC.
A DVD show-casing each young person’s short animation about their experience as carers has been produced and will be distributed to schools and youth agencies throughout Australia. If you would like a copy please contact us:-
